The Smartcall Telephone Account offers companies and individuals a considerable reduction in telecommunication costs for both international and local calls. No monthly fixed fees are charged and low calling rates are not related to the volume of your calls. No complicated administrative procedures, contracts or agreements are needed to use the telephone account. It is very easy to start or terminate the service; just sign in to open an account. If you want to quit, you need only to use up your credit. With the My Account internet application you will have a constant and detailed overview of your calls and payments, and therefore the complete control over your telephone account.
It is easy to start. First sign in on this site, and then add the minimum first credit of CZK 200 to your new telephone account. If you decide to pay online, you will be able to use the service immediately after you complete the registration process.
First, you dial a toll-free access number. The telephone number format is 822 XXX XXX. Specific access numbers are listed in detailed instructions which will be available after you complete the registration.
Tip: If your telephone set has a memory function, we recommend saving your access number so you can redial it by pressing a single button.
After dialing the access telephone number, voice instructions will advise you on how to proceed with your call. If you registered the telephone number you are calling from (either during the registration process, or later using the My Account application) just dial the destination number (the number you want to call.) If you did not register the telephone number you are calling from, you will need to dial a 10-digit account number (PIN code) and then the destination number. Using your PIN code, you can also make calls from public pay phones or any other telephone line. After every phone call its relevant price is deducted from your credit.

You can use the service from any telephone line. You can use the Smartcall service even in case you use an alternative telecommunication operator via the carrier selection (CS) or carrier pre-selection (CPS) from the Telefonica O2 network.
In case you have a high-speed internet connection (ADSL or cable internet), you can use the Smartcall VoIP service and make calls via the internet at even better rates. You make calls simply by dialling the called phone number via the VoIP software programme or from the equipment for the internet telephony. More information about calling via the internet >>.
