How does the card work?
Each Smartcall calling card contains a credit equal to a specific amount of money that can be spent on telephone services provided by Advantel. To use the card, the user first dials a toll-free access number. Then he is asked to enter the PIN code, which is printed on the back side of the card under a scratch-off layer. After the PIN code is authorized by the system, the user can dial the destination number and the call is connected. The price of the telephone call is calculated according to the appropriate tariff. The value is deducted from the total credit on the calling card immediately after the call is completed.
